How long does it take for Army promotion board results? ›

The processing of results is constrained further by policy to ensure the integrity of the well established board process, and protect the rights of individuals and their military status under the Constitution. In general the process, from board recess to release of the results, is approximately four (4) months.

Purpose and Authority. This board is convened to evaluate the performance and potential of eligible Regular Army (RA) and United States Army Reserve Active Guard Reserve (USAR AGR) Noncommissioned officers (NCOs).

The Board reviews applications in the order in which they are received. Due to the number of applications already on hand and the complexity of many of the cases, it may be as long as 12 months or more before you receive notification of the decision on your request.

Promotable soldiers are assigned a sequence number on an order of merit list (OML), based on their time in grade, date of birth, and length of service. Staff sergeant (SSG) is the E-6 rank in the United States Army, just above sergeant and below sergeant first class, and is a non-commissioned officer (NCO).

Like the Scout, the weapon is lightweight for a sniper rifle, but players will not gain a speed bonus with SSG 08 out and will have a speed of 230 units per second.
